Equestrian Centre in Derbyshire

Just over the border from Nottinghamshire into Derbyshire lies Golden Valley.

Set against A backdrop of fabulous rolling countryside, Golden Valley Equestrian Centre is built in 47 acres of grassland.

Indoor Arena now open. Click here to view.

About the Area

There will be staff coverage 24 hours a day to look after all the horses and to provide on-site security. Access off the main road will be via wide, lorry friendly gates with key code access. Opposite the Equestrian Centre
is Golden Valley Caravan Park which has its own riding school with resident ponies and donkeys. A very popular holiday destination every year, if you fancy a riding holiday, why not bring your own horse or pony and stable them at the Equestrian Centre.

Keeping you entertained

There are many bridle-paths and off-road hacking routes to take advantage of to avoid major or busy roads if you fancy a change from schooling in one of the arenas.

At the heart of this equestrian centre sits a start-of-the-art, purpose-built stable block to accommodate 20 horses or ponies on full livery, a 60 x 40 all-weather arena with a wax fibre silica sand surface.

The new 35 x 70 indoor arena is now available.

The parkland is all set in beautiful post and rail fencing, offering safe-grazing for all liveries. 20 acres of the land will be set aside for a BE standard cross-country course which is currently being designed and will be ready later in the year.
